My name is Morgane and I am a wedding photographer, at your service. If you want to know more about me, you’ve come to the right place. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

At any wedding there’s always a little girl gazing around with stars in her eyes. Have you seen her, the one following the bride’s every move throughout the day? Well, that’s me.

In any case, it was me. Now I’ve grown up, but the stars are still there. I am utterly fascinated by weddings, whether they’re small and intimate or large, crowded affairs, in the city or in the countryside, June weddings or Winter weddings: to me they are always beautiful, and they make me dream. It’s that dream that I want to show in my photographs.

I am here to capture the emotions, the beauty, the setting you’ve chosen, the people sharing this moment with you, the happiness, your happiness.

But I won’t stop there, and I’m even a bit obsessed about photographing each detail, whether it’s a hair brooch or the colour of your shoelaces, the invitations, the rings, the cufflinks, the flowers on the tables, the wedding favours… each detail you’ve devised, big or small, to mark this unique occasion! These, too, are the souvenirs, touching or funny, shared with loved ones, that we never want to forget.

Photography is an essential part of my life: since I have a very bad memory, I always say that if you don’t have a brain, there are always photos to remember things by!

So where did I get this passion for photography?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been immersed in photography, whether it was with my Dad, who never leaves the house without a camera slung around his neck and who passed the bug on to me by signing me up for photography lessons as a kid and giving me my first cameras ; or later when I found myself on the other side of the lens, working as a model for a major modelling agency.

So, I really know how it feels to be the star of the day, incessantly photographed, not being sure how to pose or what to do with your hands. And yes sir, I’m also talking to the men!

Well, you can relax: I’ll be there to reassure you, to guide you, to help you find the right pose, where to look in order to best convey your feelings — in short, to make you feel comfortable and ready to express your personality in a joyful, carefree atmosphere, because who wants an endless photo shoot with cramped, awkward poses?

Finally, a couple of words about my work:

I am mainly what is called a “fine art” photographer. As you can see on my website, I favour a soft, luminous and natural image. When circumstances allow, I prefer to use natural light. If the weather is gloomy, I take advantage of it to create a “moody” feel, where the dimmer natural light provides a bit of mystery and intimacy. My lighting equipment is also there to supplement any lack of natural light or if you want to have a studio corner for more offbeat or quirky photographs.

I am constantly seeking to improve my work, to create photo spreads worthy of being published in the major magazines, so that your wedding album will be absolutely gorgeous while reflecting your personal style. You should know that I also photograph shows and restaurants, and this experience feeds my creativity as well. I’m always updating my technique and my training, following renown photographers on the field or in workshops both in Belgium and abroad.

In other words, if you’re looking for a devoted photographer who is passionate about her work and will make you her priority, here I am.
